I often wonder what innovation might be going on in Russia on SSP. I recently did a web search, and found a few interesting leads:
One would guess that Russia being one of the true aerospace pioneers would be a major contributor to Solar Power Satellite Design--perhaps they are in journals we in the West don't/can't read. At least, for humanity, we hope so, and that the brilliance of the community is not dulled by the current short term hydrocarbon wealth that has proven itself a developmental curse all over the world.
